PLEASE NOTE: Since plants are often sourced from the garden to order, sizes do vary a little, depending on how they come out of the ground, but I always endeavour to give a little more rather than less! They are sometimes shipped bare-rooted, but will approximate the size specified (e.g. a 9cm pot).
Didiscus caeruleus, Lacy Series
Lace flower, mixed
A most attractive (to pollinating insects as well as humans!), long-flowering annual. The umbels of blooms in soft shades of pink, blue, mauve and white are sweetly scented and make an excellent cut flower.
Sowing and/or growing instructions
Sow under cover from early Spring in good quality compost, covering with the barest sprinkling of compost or fine vermiculite. Move seedlings on into small pots or modules and plant out when all danger of frost is past. Can also be sown outside once there is no longer a risk of frost.
