PLEASE NOTE: Since plants are often sourced from the garden to order, sizes do vary a little, depending on how they come out of the ground, but I always endeavour to give a little more rather than less! They are sometimes shipped bare-rooted, but will approximate the size specified (e.g. a 9cm pot).

Dwarf variety, producing a neat mound of hairy, rounded leaves, above which rise stems topped with bright orange-red flowers from late spring and throughout the summer. Lovely at the front of borders and also makes a good container plant.
Sowing and/or growing instructions
Sow in spring on the surface of good quality compost, barely covering with a little more compost or some fine vermiculite. Place in propagator or seal in a plastic bag and provide 68F/20C until germination occurs, then grow on in cooler conditions, transferring seedlings to individual pots. Plant out when large enough. |
