PLEASE NOTE: Since plants are often sourced from the garden to order, sizes do vary a little, depending on how they come out of the ground, but I always endeavour to give a little more rather than less! They are sometimes shipped bare-rooted, but will approximate the size specified (e.g. a 9cm pot).
Helichrysum bracteatum monstrosum Double Mixed
Everlasting Daisy, Straw flower
The papery flowers of this quirky plant, which grows on tall, straight stems about 3 feet high, are perfect for drying. Butterflies love them! Very easy to grow, and a good introduction to gardening for children.
Sowing and/or growing instructions
Either sow under cover in early Spring, potting on into modules or small pots for planting out after last frosts, or sow direct in late Spring, thinning to a foot apart. Pinch out young plants to encourage branching.
