PLEASE NOTE: Since plants are often sourced from the garden to order, sizes do vary a little, depending on how they come out of the ground, but I always endeavour to give a little more rather than less! They are sometimes shipped bare-rooted, but will approximate the size specified (e.g. a 9cm pot).

|Sowing and/or growing instructions|
|Sow under glass from early to late spring or in the autumn onto the surface of good quality, moist seed compost, just covering with sieved compost or fine vermiculite (light aids germination) at 15-20C. Ensure that the compost is kept moist but not waterlogged. Transplant seedlings into individual 9cm pots and grow on until large enough to plant out after all danger of frost. It may be wise to keep plants in a greenhouse or cold frame for their first year.|
