PLEASE NOTE: Since plants are often sourced from the garden to order, sizes do vary a little, depending on how they come out of the ground, but I always endeavour to give a little more rather than less! They are sometimes shipped bare-rooted, but will approximate the size specified (e.g. a 9cm pot).

A most unusual take on the familiar tobacco plant, this variety produces masses of rich, acid-green flowers. Mine are planted in a fairly shady area where they do very well, adding a touch of brightness throughout the summer and well into autumn. A good cut flower if you can bear to pick it.
Sowing and/or growing instructions
Sow in spring, thinly on the surface of moist compost, covering with a dusting of compost or vermiculite. Prick out into individual pots or modules when large enough to handle. Acclimatise to outdoor conditions before moving to their final positions. Alternatively, sow direct in spring. Adequate watering will help reduce the possibility of mildew appearing on the foliage, but this has never been a problem for me. |
