PLEASE NOTE: Since plants are often sourced from the garden to order, sizes do vary a little, depending on how they come out of the ground, but I always endeavour to give a little more rather than less! They are sometimes shipped bare-rooted, but will approximate the size specified (e.g. a 9cm pot).
Sisyrinchium bermudiana Syn. angustifolium
Dainty deep blue, star-shaped flowers with yellow throats on short, straight stems above stiff, grass-like foliage. Very pretty at the front of the border.
Sowing and/or growing instructions
Best sown in autumn, in a cold frame. Sow thinly in a pot or small seed tray, 0.1in/3mm deep. Prick out seedlings into individual pots and plant out in final positions when large enough.
