PLEASE NOTE: Since plants are often sourced from the garden to order, sizes do vary a little, depending on how they come out of the ground, but I always endeavour to give a little more rather than less! They are sometimes shipped bare-rooted, but will approximate the size specified (e.g. a 9cm pot).
Attractive shade-loving plant
A lovely woodland plant with a rosette of light-green round, lobed foliage and slender stems bearing insignificant, but nonetheless attractive, downward-pointing bell-shaped flowers down their length, sometimes creamy yellow, sometimes tinged with pink.
Sowing and/or growing instructions
Sow spring or autumn, on the surface of moist, well-drained seed compost, barely covering with a sprinkling of sieved compost or fine vermiculite.Place in a cold frame, where germination, which can be erratic, should occur within 30-90 days. Transplant seedlings into pots or trays and grow until large enough to plant out, in shade or part-shade.
