PLEASE NOTE: Since plants are often sourced from the garden to order, sizes do vary a little, depending on how they come out of the ground, but I always endeavour to give a little more rather than less! They are sometimes shipped bare-rooted, but will approximate the size specified (e.g. a 9cm pot).

This low-growing, non-flowering form of chamomile is traditionally used to make the highly-scented, traditional 'chamomile' lawn', but can also be used in smaller quantities, dotted around in rockeries, at the front of beds or near paths where, when trodden on or brushed against, it releases its distinctive, apple-like fragrance. I can offer only small quantities, but the plant roots easily from small shoots, so if you wish to propagate from the plug plants I provide you should have no problem in increasing the stock quite quickly.
Sowing and/or growing instructions
To increase stock, take small, strong shoots, strip off lower leaves and either heel down into soil in a sheltered place or plant firmly into pots or modules. Keep moist and out of full sunlight until roots form. |
