A small, variegated nettle with spikes of yellow flowers. A good choice for woodland planting or at the front of shady borders.
Sowing and/or growing instructions
Sow in a pot of moist, but not waterlogged, compost and keep indoors in an unheated propagator or plastic bag for for two weeks; then place in a fridge for a further 10 weeks. Grow seedlings on in individual pots or modules until large enough to plant out. Alternatively, sow in pots or trays in autumn, in a cold frame or sheltered location for germination in the spring.
