PLEASE NOTE: Since plants are often sourced from the garden to order, sizes do vary a little, depending on how they come out of the ground, but I always endeavour to give a little more rather than less! They are sometimes shipped bare-rooted, but will approximate the size specified (e.g. a 9cm pot).
|This pretty annual climber will happily scramble over fences and trellis, though you may wish to provide some string to help it on its way. The pretty, fringed, yellow flowers appear in profusion during the summer and the lobed, pale-green foliage is also very attractive. Good for hiding eyesores!
NOTE: Externally sourced seeds.
|Sowing and/or growing instructions|
|Sow singly in modules or small pots, in moist but not waterlogged compost, covering with about 5mm compost at 65-70F/18-21C. Ensure that compost never dries out. Plant out 12-24in apart after all risk of frost is past. Provide support for the plants to climb up.|
