PLEASE NOTE: Since plants are often sourced from the garden to order, sizes do vary a little, depending on how they come out of the ground, but I always endeavour to give a little more rather than less! They are sometimes shipped bare-rooted, but will approximate the size specified (e.g. a 9cm pot).
Deliciously scented, with pendulous white flowers, this tall plant is a valuable addition to shadier parts of the garden. Although usually grown as a biennial, in the right conditions it can survive as a (usually) short-lived perennial. Highly recommended.
Sowing and/or growing instructions
Sow in spring under glass, on the surface of moist compost, covering with a dusting of compost or vermiculite. Prick out into individual pots or modules when large enough to handle. Acclimatise to outdoor conditions before moving to their final positions.
