This pale-yellow variety of cinquefoil is a wildflower that makes a lovely addition to the cottage garden but is relatively unknown and rarely to be found for sale. It flowers for many months, from Spring and right through to the first frosts. Will gently self-seed. The colour can vary a little in density, but the yellow is never garish!
Sowing and/or growing instructions
Sow thinly on the surface of good quality, moist compost, covering with a bare sprinkling of compost or fine vermiculite. Provide a temperature of about 20C/68F. Germination is usually 7-14 days, but can be a little longer. Grow plants on in individual pots, planting out when large enough.
