This delightful annual wildflower has pink, five-petalled flowers surrounding by elongated calyxes, on strong, upright stems with narrow leaves. Should happily self-seed but unwanted plants are not difficult to remove.
Sowing and/or growing instructions
Direct sow September to May, half an inch deep (deep enough to exclude light), thinning to 18in apart. Tolerates most soil types, but prefers full sun. Can also be sown in seed trays or modules for planting out later.
