Antirrhinum majus Ex. tall, red
Snapdragon, Ex. tall, deep-red
|
||||||||||||
Although a perennial, antirrhinums are usually treated as annuals. These seeds were collected from particularly tall, velvety-red plants. Since other antirrhinums are grown in the garden I cannot guarantee that all will breed true.
Sowing and/or growing instructions
Antirrhinums need light to germinate. Sow in Spring, covering with a very thin layer of soil or compost. Transfer seedlings to pots or modules and grow on until large enough to plant out, 6-10in/15-25-mm apart. Germination time 7-14 days. |
