| Although strictly speaking a perennial shrub, this dynamic plant is usually grown as an annual, but container-grown plants can be overwintered in a conservatory or heated greenhouse. HIGHLY POISONOUS!!! | ||||||||||||
| Sowing and/or growing instructions | ||||||||||||
| Soak seeds in warm water overnight, then sow, February to March, on the surface of a pot containing good quality seed compost, covering with a fine sprinkling of fine vermiculite or sieved compost. Keep moist but not waterlogged and do not exclude light, as this helps germination. Place in a plastic bag or propagator at 60-68F/15-20C. Germination should take 21-60 days. |
