This is an exquisite geranium! The strong, upright stems bear sky blue blooms run through with delicate white veins (most blue geraniums have dark veins). Happy in full sun or part shade and has a long flowering period. A must! Please note that since there are other geraniums in the garden there may have been some cross-pollination, so I cannot guarantee that all seeds will breed true, but in my experience they do tend to retain the characteristics of the variety. NOTE: 2017 harvest was not good, with many duds. Stock has been carefully sorted to retain only plump seeds, so stock very limited! |
Sowing and/or growing instructions |
Sow in very moist, but not water-logged, modules or small pots, .25in/6mm deep in spring or autumn. A little heat may aid germination, which should occur from about 10 days, but do not overheat (maximum 70F/20C) as this may deter germination. Grow seedlings on and in the case of autumn sowings, keep in a cold frame or sheltered spot during the winter, planting out in spring. |
