Dwarf variety, producing a neat mound of hairy, rounded leaves, above which rise stems topped with bright orange-red flowers from late spring and throughout the summer. Lovely at the front of borders and also makes a good container plant.
Sowing and/or growing instructions
Sow in spring on the surface of good quality compost, barely covering with a little more compost or some fine vermiculite. Place in propagator or seal in a plastic bag and provide 68F/20C until germination occurs, then grow on in cooler conditions, transferring seedlings to individual pots. Plant out when large enough.
