| Sow under glass from early to late spring or in the autumn onto the surface of good quality, moist seed compost, just covering with sieved compost or fine vermiculite (light aids germination) at 15-20C. Ensure that the compost is kept moist but not waterlogged. Transplant seedlings into individual 9cm pots and grow on until large enough to plant out after all danger of frost. It may be wise to keep plants in a greenhouse or cold frame for their first year. |
