| Sowing and/or growing instructions | ||||||||||||
| Sow thinly, half an inch deep, in good quality, moist (but not water-logged) compost in a propagator at 18-23C/65-75F. Do not allow to dry out. Germination can be erratic, so don't discard the seeds too soon! Grow on seedlings in 9cm pots, hardening off and planting out when all danger of frost is past. Takes quite easily from cuttings. The tuberous roots can be lifted and stored in a frost-free place in the same manner as for dahlias |
