A lovely woodland plant with a rosette of light-green round, lobed foliage and slender stems bearing insignificant, but nonetheless attractive, downward-pointing bell-shaped flowers down their length, sometimes creamy yellow, sometimes tinged with pink. | ||||||||||||
Sowing and/or growing instructions | ||||||||||||
Sow spring or autumn, on the surface of moist, well-drained seed compost, barely covering with a sprinkling of sieved compost or fine vermiculite.Place in a cold frame, where germination, which can be erratic, should occur within 30-90 days. Transplant seedlings into pots or trays and grow until large enough to plant out, in shade or part-shade. |
