A much rarer form than the well known blue veronica, this variety is in pretty shades of pink. The spikes of tiny flowers appear from late spring until mid summer and make a good filler in flower arrangements. Cut plant back to 1 foot after flowering to encourage a new crop of flowering stems in the autumn. Very attractive to bees. | ||||||||||||
Sowing and/or growing instructions | ||||||||||||
Sow in spring in pots on the surface of good quality compost, barely covered, and place in a propagator or sealed plastic bag at 70F/20C . Germination takes 7-14 days. Can also be sown in the autumn in a cold frame. |
