Some of the lower leaves tend to shrivel and drop in the autumn - perfectly normal. Keep on a light window sill or in a frost-free greenhouse over the winter and don't be tempted to overwater. Plants will become leggy over time as they lose leaves. In the spring, take cuttings a few inches long with some bare stem and after allowing them to air-dry for a few days so that the cut ends heal over, plant them up to the first leaves in gritty compost. They will soon root. This plant will be very happy outside during the summer months. |
