Resembling an astilbe, but larger and more vigorous, this stunning plant gives a wonderful display of creamy-white, feathery flower plumes in late spring to early summer. The flowers retain their freshness longer in more shady areas, but the plant will also perform well in full sun. Well deserving of the Award of Garden Merit bestowed upon it by The Royal Horticultural Society! | ||||||||||||

The seed is very fine - almost like dust - so surface sow at 65F. If no germination occurs after 28 days or so, place pot in the fridge for three to five weeks, then bring back into the light at 65F. Germination is sporadic and may take many weeks. Note: Packet contents may include chaff. |
