| A very pretty plant for front of border, Erigeron produces masses of dainty, daisy-like pink and white flowers about 2cm in diameter in late spring and throughout the summer, above dark-green foliage. | ||||||||||||
| Sowing and/or growing instructions | ||||||||||||
| Sow thinly under glass at 15-20C, on the surface of sieved compost, covering with a bare dusting of fine vermiculite. as light aids germination, which usually takes14-28 days. When large enough to handle transplant seedlings to individual pots and grow on until large enough to plant out. Very easy to care for. Trim back if the plants become straggly or untidy. Self seeds enthusiastically, but unwanted plants are not difficult to remove. NOTE: it is difficult to fully isolate the seeds, so some chaff will be present. |
