A delightful species gladiolus with vibrant magenta blooms in late spring. The foliage can be somewhat lax, so some light support is recommended (I use string around a ring of short canes). Hardy in most areas - if in doubt, mulch! |
Sowing and/or growing instructions |
Plant corms 10-16cm (4-6in) deep in autumn. In heavier soils it is best to place the corms on a bed of fine grit or sharp sand to aid drainage. |
