Phlox paniculata 'Pink Lady'
Garden Phlox, Perennial Phlox 'Pink Lady'
Type/Hardiness Herbaceous, Perennial, Hardy
Flowering period Summer-early autumn
Height 24-36in/60-90cm
Light preference Full sun/part shade
Soil preference Moist, fertile, free-draining
Sowing time/depth ,
This lovely plant has tall, erect stems clothed in red-tinged, mid-green foliage at the top of which appear large, loose globes of pink, sweetly scented flowers. It blooms for months and makes a wonderful addition to flower arrangements. As the flowers mature the perfume is reminiscent of caramel. Grow en masse for best effect.

NOTES:
1. During the growing season plants may be too advanced to ship whole, in which case they will be trimmed back. They will soon produce new growth (and extra flowering stems!).
2. Seeds, when offered, are collected from pink plants, but cannot be guaranteed to come true, likely producing colours from dark-pink through to white.

Sowing and/or growing instructions
Very easy to grow and maintain. Dead head regularly to encourage repeat flowering. Cut down all top growth in the autumn.
