Sowing and/or growing instructions | ||||||||||||
Sow in a cold frame in autumn or in an unheated greenhouse in spring. thinly on the surface of good quality, moist compost, covering with a bare sprinkling of compost or fine vermiculite. Provide a temperature of about 20C/68F. Germination is usually 7-14 days, but can be a little longer. Spring-sown seeds may benefit from a couple of weeks in the fridge to aid germination. Grow plants on in individual pots, planting out when large enough. |
