Soak overnight and/or nick the seed coating, then sow singly in modules or two to a 3in pot, under glass in spring. Pinch out growing tips of seedlings when they are a few inches tall. Acclimatise to outdoor conditions and plant out in a sheltered spot when all risk of frost has passed.
