Catmint has a strong aroma that both attracts cats and repels mosquitoes - what's not to like about that (if you're a cat-lover at least!)? The underside of the foliage has a downy appearance; in summer spikes of pale, purplish flowers whitish-purple flowers are produced

NOTE: Externally sourced seeds.

Sowing and/or growing instructions
Sow under glass from early-mid Spring, 5mm deep in moist but well-drained compost at 15-20C/50--70F. Germination usually takes 14-28 days. Transplant seedlings into individual pots or modules and grow on, planting out in moist, well-drained soil in sun or part shade after all danger of frost has passed. Direct sowings can be made in late Spring.
