| The bulbs should be planted 4-6in/10-15cm deep. NOTE: Although all parts of lily plants are extremely toxic to cats, this is a pollen-free plant, so there is no danger of felines brushing against flowers and later washing pollen grains from their fur. But if lilies are grown in cat-owners' gardens they should be sited with great care - even a small piece of leaf, if ingested, can cause severe poisoning and even death. |
